I am a senior computer engineering student at Cedarville University in Ohio. My greatest passions are for promoting Christ, serving as a minister of Christ in urban poor environments, and enhancing my proficiency with modern technology.

My parents were told medically that they would never be able to have children. When I was conceived, therefore, it was nothing short of an absolute miracle. Little did my parents know at the time, but it was even more miraculous than it had appeared at first glance. After an unusually long labor, my mother underwent a cesarean section to finally give birth to me. The doctors found a healthy little boy, however I was covering the presence of a twenty pound malignant tumor! The presence of this disease had gone completely unnoticed, and if it were not for my birth, my parents may have never known of its existence until it was too late. It was because of this trial in my mom’s life that I truly began my journey of coming to a deep and growing knowledge of the God of the Bible, who I am absolutely convinced is the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things.

The early years were filled with joy and laughter in times spent with my parents, despite their knowledge of the medically prescribed short life expectancy given my mother. Through countless surgeries, treatments, and remedies, mom was sustained, defying the predictions of doctors, by the Giver of Life. Though God finally chose to take her out of suffering to be with Him in January of 2010 (over twenty years later!), my dad and I live on in peace knowing full well the joy which sustained her.

I personally accepted the gift of Christ’s death as payment for my sin at the very young age of four. A children’s television show laid out the plan of the Gospel which I readily responded to, to the best of my young heart. Several years later, at a summer camp in Northern Michigan, I came to a more complete realization of that sacrifice of Jesus and re-dedicated my life to serve Him. The Lord has provided for my every need, and even beyond into the realm of my desires. I have had the amazing opportunity to experience the work of the Gospel abroad in places like Philadelphia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Australia. I am currently serving as an ambassador for Christ through a small inner-city gathering of believers in Dayton, OH, where I teach the young men’s Sunday school class as well as meet various other needs. I believe God is calling me to a life of “tent-maker missions” in an urban environment.

So, why does a young college kid in Ohio need a website? Nailing down an exact answer to that is something I am still sorting through in my mind. Most websites have a central focus: advertising an ideology, sharing a passion, selling a product or service, etc. In a sense, this site seeks to accomplish many, if not all, of these goals. I ultimately hope to keep it simplistic and useful despite its diversity.

Advertising an Ideology. As a passionate follower of Christ, I wanted to compose some thoughts on the walk as I study and live to receive valuable feedback from other believers. Please feel free to provide Biblical constructive criticism in thoughts where I may differ from the truth of Scripture and contribute where you have further wisdom to share. Furthermore, if you do not know Christ, I would love to talk to you further about what He means to me and the hope He can bring to you.

Sharing a Passion. As a computer engineer and hobbyist techy, I love promoting the internet virility of the latest news in cutting edge technology. I will strive to, from time to time, post reviews on the latest software packages and geeky gadgets that I have been exposed to or have used myself.

Selling a Service. As a yet poor university student, I am looking for any means possible to pay off my debt. I have technical skills in many areas with which I would love to assist you or your organization to meet your requirements.
